How does the Neo Secured Credit Card work?
The secured version of the Neo Mastercard uses refundable security funds to support the card’s credit limit. The amount placed in the security fund helps determine how much secured credit is available.

Card activity may be reported to Canadian credit bureaus. Responsible use and on-time payments may help establish a credit history, but a particular credit-score increase is not guaranteed.
Fees and interest
The secured Neo Mastercard may not have a separate annual card fee, but the Build membership required for its secured credit feature currently has a monthly fee. Additional fees may apply to foreign-currency transactions, missed payments or other account activity.
Purchase interest can apply when the statement balance is not paid according to the card agreement. The rate offered can vary, so applicants should review the disclosure statement presented by Neo before accepting the card.
